Faith and Science for everyone - a short course for Christian leaders

St Edmund's College, Cambridge: Jan 10-11, 2020

Deadline for applications: December 10, 2019

Aim of Course

Join us in Cambridge for our professional workshop aimed at church leaders, lay or ordained, and those in training. The workshop will cover contemporary hot topics in the dialogue between Science and Religion as well as how to engage with Science and Faith in the local Church. Open to all church leaders; no scientific background required.

In recent years as the UK has become more secularised Science is no longer perceived as a religious activity. Further, for many the Church is looked at as a community who no longer value the role of science. The course will address those tensions and equip church leaders to engage with science in a helpful way.

Cost: £50 for both days, £30 for one day, £10 for both days for those in training for Christian ministry.

Please indicate in the 'reasons for application' box as to whether you are applying for one (Fri or Sat) or both days.

Price includes lunch but not accommodation.
